30 vs. 40 Vergleich

30-Zahn- vs. 40-Zahn-Ausdünnungsscheren: Was ändert sich?

In Joewell's E and HXT pairs, the 40-tooth models carry a higher published ratio than their 30-tooth partners. That refutes a universal 'more teeth means a lower published rate' shortcut; it does not rank every thinner.

What the paired examples show

  • Joewell lists E-30 and HXT-30 at 15%, and E-40 and HXT-40 at 35%.
  • Those maker-published pairs show that 40 teeth does not automatically mean a lower published rate.
  • Count still cannot predict another model because tooth and opposing-blade geometry can change.
  • Choose only after the exact specification, fit, permitted trial and service route meet the task.

Schnelle Antwort

A 40-tooth model does not automatically carry a lower published cut ratio than a 30-tooth model. Tooth count alone also does not establish how gentle either tool will feel or perform. Joewell currently lists both E-30 and HXT-30 at a 15% cut ratio and both E-40 and HXT-40 at 35%. In these two related pairs, the 40-tooth option has the higher maker-published ratio.

That result does not mean 40 teeth always removes more. It shows that the count is not a universal removal scale. The Joewell technical note says its cut ratio differs with tooth number and comb-blade shape, so the exact model remains the unit of comparison.

Was die Anzahl der Zähne aussagt

Tooth count identifies how many comb features the maker assigns to the named model. It does not, by itself, identify tooth width, gaps, groove shape, tooth tips, overlap, opposing-blade geometry, alignment, handed orientation or the material presented during a closure.

Use the maker’s product code and page rather than counting a listing photograph. A model name can contain a number that is not a tooth count, and a photograph may hide part of the comb blade.

Warum die veröffentlichten Kennzahlen abweichen

The cleanest 30-versus-40 comparison available here uses two same-maker pairs:

Exact Joewell model Zähne Normale Größe Klingenlänge Vom Hersteller angegebenes Schnittverhältnis Quelle
E-30 30 5.6 in 61mm 15% E specification
E-40 40 5.6 in 61mm 35% E specification
HXT-30 30 5.9 in 62mm 15% HXT specification
HXT-40 40 5.9 in 62mm 35% HXT specification

The shared nominal size and blade length within each pair make the catalogue comparison easier to read. They do not prove that every other geometric field, condition or use context is controlled, and Joewell’s percentages remain manufacturer claims.

Was eine Schnittquotenforderung leisten kann und was nicht.

A published ratio helps distinguish exact models when its maker, wording and date stay attached. Record any qualifier, range, orientation or test context the maker supplies. If the method is absent, write method not published.

Do not convert the figure into a guaranteed percentage removed from a client’s section. Section size and distribution, working state, placement, technique, tool condition and repeated closures can change what is presented to the blades and how the released result reads.

After the count comparison, check the fields that can change the decision:

The count does not prescribe teeth-up or teeth-down use, placement, a hair label, handle fit or care. Use the general thinning-shear guide for the complete evidence and practice record, the hair-behaviour guide for section observations, and the Werkzeugpassungsbeurteilung for the whole pair.

Read the seller’s written hygiene and return rules before handling or cutting. If a trial is allowed, compare only the exact candidates on approved practice material, record the released result and stop after catching, unexpected removal, discomfort or reduced control. The observation applies to that model, operator, setup, material and method.

The Joewell technical note, E page and HXT page were directly inspected on 10 September 2026. They establish the attributed catalogue fields shown above. They do not independently measure removed hair, establish a universal relationship between count and ratio, compare cutting quality, authorise a technique or select a model for a person.

Ein paar abschließende Fragen

Häufig gestellte Fragen

Entfernen Scheren mit 40 Zähnen weniger Haare als Scheren mit 30 Zähnen?

Not necessarily. Joewell currently publishes 35% for its E-40 and HXT-40, compared with 15% for the related E-30 and HXT-30. Those figures answer only those exact pairs and do not predict another maker or model.

Welche Zahnanzahl ist am sichersten für feines oder lockiges Haar?

No tooth count is universally safest for a hair label. Record the observed hair variables, exact task, model geometry, permitted orientation, tool condition, operator competency and released practice result.

Kann ich den Schnittprozentsatz anhand der Zahnanzahl berechnen?

No reliable universal formula follows from tooth count. Use a maker-published ratio only for its exact model and stated scope, then keep the controlled practice result separate.

Benötige ich sowohl eine Schere mit 30 als auch mit 40 Zähnen?

Only if two exact models pass their own checks and fill distinct, repeated tasks. The numbers alone do not prove complementary results or justify buying both.

Beweisstatus: Three current Joewell pages and two related exact-model pairs were checked 10 September 2026. This is not an independent cut-rate measurement, hands-on product test, cross-brand survey, technique assessment or personal recommendation.

The comparison uses two related pairs from one maker so the 30-versus-40 answer stays auditable. The percentages are Joewell catalogue claims, not independent measurements or a formula for other tools.
